Edinburgh-based company, Reath, was nominated for the highly prestigious and competitive Earthshot Prize 2023. The Earthshot Prize is nomination-only and Reath received their nomination from a specially appointed selection committee at the University of Manchester. The basis of Reath's nomination was their work to reduce packaging waste through scaled-up adoption of reuse systems.
Claire Rampen, co-founder and CEO at Reath said:
"A nomination for the prestigious Earthshot award is a great honour for Reath. The team has worked incredibly hard to deeply understand the challenges facing companies adopting and scaling up reuse systems, so we are proud and honoured to be given this nomination for the work we have been doing."
